Through a brilliant comedic sense and a quick-witted mind, Tony Wendland has
established himself as one of comedy's "rising" stars.
After spending 3 years as
a house emcee at both Go Bananas Comedy Club (Cincinnati, OH) and Joker's
Comedy Cafe (in nearby Dayton, OH) Tony was encouraged by both club manager's as well as fellow comedians to take his show on the road, making a
smooth transition to touring comic. Along the way Tony took the top prize at the
Mid-West Comedy Joke-off gaining national exposure as well as receiving accolades from such comics as Dave Attell. Playing clubs and colleges
throughout the mid-west.
Tony uses his charm, laid back attitude and a
commanding yet loveable stage presence to win audiences over from the time
he steps on stage. Touching on a wide range of subjects from fatherhood to
hangin' out with friends, good/bad T.V, and flash backs of Tequilla binges to
filing bankruptcy, Tony seems to have material that is original and diverse
enough to make ALL people laugh and laugh hard regardless of age, race, creed or color.
Tony's show is similar to a
roller coaster ride and at some points it's like a runaway train of fun as you roll through his mind and you get to see
the world from his eyes. Anyone that has ever drank themselves into a stupor or
hit the bong one too many times is sure to love this view.
