Mark Knope

Mark KnopeMARK KNOPE has been tearin’ up the comedy scene since 1986 – performing all across the U.S. & Canada – at bars, comedy clubs, casinos, festivals and theaters! He has had a long history with Hysterical Management – dating all-the-way back to 1989 – working as a solid headliner for nearly 20 years.

Born and raised in suburban Detroit, MI; his humble start began at a showcase inside an Albuquerque, NM; Chinese restaurant – since then, he’s worked with the likes of George Lopez, Tommy Chong, Bobcat Goldthwait, Kevin James, Tommy Davidson AND “Mr. Las Vegas” himself, Wayne Newton!

Knope has been featured several times on the nationally-syndicated BOB & TOM Show, Comedy Central, Comcast and ABC-TV – his CDs (2001’s “Don’t Laugh…It’ll Only Encourage Him” and “Regular Guy,” released in 2009) receive regular airplay on SIRIUS-XM satellite radio, as well.

One of Mark Knope’s biggest assets is the ability to READ and ADAPT to virtually ANY audience – he has a long history of being able to entertain in the sometimes-tough corporate market – counting GM, Pepsi, Waste Management and Bob Evans Restaurants among his clientele.

Speaking of versatility, in 2003; Mark performed THREE shows as part of Harley-Davidson’s 100th Birthday Celebration at the Summerfest Grounds in Milwaukee, WI!

He covers his material in a fun and energetic manner – peppering in sound effects, quirky facial expressions and a few celebrity impressions along the way! He never stays on a particular subject too long – he shifts his show’s gears from tattoos to golf…then, on to “dating grandmothers” and breast implants!

For over a quarter-century (and 5,000+ shows,) this self-proclaimed, “Born-Again Bachelor” has been making people laugh! You wanna “bet on a winner?” Bet on MARK KNOPE!
